So /vp/, what keeps you playing Pokemon? The characters? The Pokemon themselves? Just gameplay in general?

As for myself, I don't really do it for gameplay but rather the characters (humans and pokemon both) and the world. It's also interesting outside of the games to see the hype of news and watching the franchise grow and develop.
