Hey /vp/, what if Gen VI introduced two new held items, which may evolve some couple of pokémon that have something in common in a new single pokémon? In the pic related I made some examples.

Seriously, OP? You want to fuse Nidorino and Nidorina, who are counterparts because they're male and female of their species, and turn then into some hermaphrodite thing?
Oh well, maybe the resulting pokémon would be a Poison/Transvestite type, that would be awesome, don't you think?

Well you're right but I just wanted to do some examples, I don't like the Nidorino/Nidorina fusion nor the Mandibuzz/Braviary fusion, I started with Minun+Plusle, Reshiram+Zekrom, Throh+Sawk, the others are fillers

But it still doesn't make much sense to fuse together two living, organic creatures. Magnemite and Beldum are inorganic, and Kyurem is a special case because they were orignally one Pokémon.

(Not Op Here) I agree, but it could be explained with some kind of magic shit. Pokémon are full of supernatural stuff so it's not a total issue. Also, Dragon Ball. Same shit.
But I don't like the idea, just think that's not impossible to explain.

But Pokémon evolution is just exaggerated metamorphosis, which happens in real life.

Let's take other examples.
They breathe fire, pass through walls, teleport, produce things from nowhere (rocks, water, etc), eats non-organic stuff like steel, have bodies made of magma, etc, etc, etc... So fusing isn't the weirdest shit they could do.
I think that our logic don't applies in the pokémon world. Things are how they are BECAUSE SCIENCE! (X-rays from the moooon) or BECAUSE MAGIC! (Dolls gaining life because was sad, uuuuh).
Once again, I don't like the idea. I just don't think that is hard to explain.

I meant that in Dragon Ball two living being fuses and no one thinks weird. And the explanation is just some fucking dance and synchronized ki. But it's awesome and it's all that matters.
I think that the same applies to pokémon, where most of the things doesn't makes sense, but we accept because is cool.
