Where Mewtwo looks masculine, this new Pokemon looks oddly feminine in its body shape. Maybe it will be a "female" counterpart to Mewtwo (I say that in quotes because it'll probably still be gender neutral like most legendaries). I wasn't sure I liked the way it looked, but the fan art in OP's post makes me like it.

I've always thought of it as masculine, I don't know why. Even before the movie. And comparitively it's definitely more masculine than the new Pokemon.

at the end of the day you have to remember that it's just a game

and the new design isn't nearly as bad as people are making it out to be

i wasn't surprised at all...gamefreak have really been trying to shake things up in the pokemon world lately
