I live in Amish country, and the poor people are so exploited. They literally get tricked into contracts with outside businesses that require them to make huge amounts of furniture that gets marked up 5x to like $1000 a table.
That said, I go straight to the farm and get the best made furniture ever for cheaper than the flimsy shit in stores. I'm talking solid oak endtables and cabinets. Best of all, even though they're a bit antequainted, they're total bros.
