So /vp/, with all the references to Indian elephants and whatnot, which of the following statements do you agree most with?
- There have never been animals in the pokéworld, references are errors.
- There once were animals, but pokémon have since replaced them.
- There still are animals, but they're all bred in captivity and no longer found in the wild.
- There still are animals in the wild, but pokémon trainers don't visit those places so we don't see them.
Personally I'm partial to #3: driven to extinction in the wild by pokémon, but some species still survive, mostly those designated to become food (cows, pigs, chickens). Some pets are also still around, but they too are slowly being replaced by pokémon.
What do you think? Not trying to prove the one true statement, just wanna hear your opinion.
