it only gets difficult when they miss a detail, and I want to correct them, but I also don't want to be that overly nitpicky fanboy. Or when they are genwunners or do the old "lolz old pokemon for life." Because I would rather they like old pokemon than no pokemon

I have a few friends that play casual Pokemon. So when I reveal to them the extent of my knowledge they are shocked. I don't bring it up unless it's relevant to the conversation with others.

Why would I hide my power level? I'm a fucking Pokemon Master and proud of it. That shit's been 15 years in the making.

23 with a Pokémon playing friend and long suffering girlfriend.

When there are in-store events my friend and I run in, start the download, sweat like fucking pigs and then run back to his car.

I love playing it and am not massively embarrassed, but I would rather the general public didn't know just how much I love it.
