>>11941733>The battle scene takes, like, 4 seconds to show up. B/W sped it up, even.True, but it still takes forever to superfluously animate the player character throwing a pokeball and making the lead appear.
I guess I could probably turn off battle animations, I just like them when I'm actually fighting.
>So you'd have to repeatedly 'zone' in and out of the route until you happen to see the Pokemon you want?Or they could periodically duck back into the grass/water/whatever and new ones could periodically pop up?
>I don't see how this couldn't be applied to the existing random battles.True, though as pokemon moves to a 3D overworld and 3D battles there's less of an excuse.
>If only there were some item that would keep wild Pokemon from attacking you, a repellent, if you will.People say that but if you're looking for a particular rare mon that doesn't help. What WOULD help would be speeding up battle transitions and/or just making you aware of what you were fighting before you bothered getting out a pokeball and fighting it.
Or maybe I'm just butthurt because I'm so sick to death of wandering around the same patch of grass for an hour trying to get one pokemon to appear.
