After visiting /vp/ since its creation, I have come to the conclusion that all of the games have their own levels of suck, and on their own merits, aren't really exceptional games at all. The routes, caves, and region in general are tiny and unexplorable and the story and difficulty are nonexistant. I hear a lot of people complaining about lack of postgame, but that's silly. Many single player games have 0 postgame and people are fine with that. Rather, I think what people are complaining about is the lack of game. Pokemon is fine as a little side distraction between real, meaty games and other aspects of your life, but please don't make it the only game you play.
