Even when I get it down to the red I've used countless ultra balls and quick balls and none of them work.

Train a Wobbuffet. Use any Pokéball you want. I used a Dive Ball for Thundurus and a Premier Ball for Tornadus because I thought their colors were cool.

For me, it only took 4 ultra balls. Then again i had specially prepared a mean look crobat and swapped to a false swipe zangoose for it.

Funny enough the most trouble i've ever had (took more than 10 ultra balls) was a wild metang. Second place goes to of all things a Basculin.

I used an ultraball and caught it the first encounter. Not to brag, but just to point out that the roamers are severely nerfed in gen 5.
