What if he got a new ability that was like a Moxie for speed? Maybe make it double his speed when he gets a kill, but he can only get that boost once similar to how Unburdened increases speed, and is lost upon switchout, but isn't an actual "sharp raise" of speed. Call it Adrenaline or something.
