Anyone else getting tired of fucking dragon champions?

Seriously. it's the most overused type and it's the most expected, yet they give us ANOTHER shitty dragon champion.

Fuck this game. We already had Lance Bubba and Drake, why do we need a brown loli dragon champion?

While it isn't overused the superiority of Dragon types has become pretty annoying over the years. While Gen 5 surprised everyone by giving great Bug types for everyone the fact that the Bug specialist was an early gym leader and that a Dragon gym leader was at the end it was pretty redundant.

Honestly, having played Black instead of White, Iris becoming a champion didn't really amaze me at all. Barely knew her character, and in B2/W2 she doesn't do shit as champion. Pretty disappointing, I fail to understand the appeal of her character. She shouldn't have been champion, GF really screwed up here.

Aside from the sounds she makes which every NPC occasionally does in Pokemon, she actually sounds more mature than lots of NPC with battling with all she has and gracefully admitting defeat.

That's her White Gym Battle dialogue. I can pull her Champion dialogue next if you'd like though, but I still think it is rather pointless. In the first place, who are you to say how a Champion should carry themselves. Blue was an asshat the short time he was Champion. We've seen quite the gambit of personalities for Champion and even if you considered Iris childish, she wouldn't be the first by far.

Hell, EVERY Champion should be a Dragon Champion.

Shit's the strongest offensive typing with only one type resisting it. Course most Dragons can learn Fire and Ground Attacks anyway.

Dragon types are seen as these Majestic and/or powerful creatures that only the strongest trainers can tame, it makes sense that Champions would have whole teams of them.

At the very least every Champion's signature Pokemon should be a Dragon Type
