Pokemon X and Y begins with an overhead view of the protagonist sleeping in their bed. Your mother calls from downstairs, telling you your friend Gene is at the door. You open your eyes, hop out of bed, and walk towards your wardrobe...

Customization is indeed possible in X, Y, and Z. You only begin with five alternative hats, and two different shades. There are 30 clothing related items to collect in total, some achieved via streetpass, others, as the story progresses, and as you meet interesting characters.

Are you ready for the adventure X and Y has to offer you? You start in Beaubloom Town, a hilly location complete with ponds and flowers that leads right into Fallepetal Forest. When you exit Fallepetal Forest, you're taken directly into route 1.

X and Y's map is kind to older players that long for a new experience.
