/vp/, among all of your unnecessary butthurt, I think it's time I have to point out a few things about the subject.

First, this isn't a new form of Mewtwo. It's a new fucking Pokemon. In fact, the only thing said is that it is related to Mewtwo in some way. It's not a new fucking form.

Second, X and Y are chromosomes and in the Japanese logo of the games there is a DNA strand included. DNA is obviously a big theme. This means it's entirely possible that this Pokemon is another successful clone of Mew OR the results of taking Mewtwo's DNA and trying to enhance it further. Basically, a more powerful form of Mewtwo.

Lastly, you are all overlooking one big detail. Mewtwo and this Pokemon have something in common. Mewtwo was meant to be the successor to Mew. This could very possibly be the actual evolution of Mew that went extinct has been revived through it's fossils.
