No it isn't.
I wasted over $400 in 1 month and every fucking month I had to redo/remake my entire deck. Everyone uses the same bullshit, follow the trends or get raped. And unless you have thousands of dollars to spend monthly, dont bother.
The online is even worse

Playing competitively, sure. The maximum enjoyment I'll ever get from TCGO is playing Theme Decks and using a $15 Dragon one I bought. But even if you don't want to spend $15 on a deck, you can use the basic decks they give you for free, but be at a slight disadvantage. It's a lot of fun casually. Even the single player is a good way to teach you how to play.
