I haven't really been paying much attention to it, honestly. The message about it's ability has popped up a few times in battle but I haven't taken the time to read it yet lel.

I can say for certain it's sprite doesn't change at all though. Would be neat if it did.

In annoying ass Chargestone Cave, getting shocked by stones, and having encounters every few seconds. It's okay though, King can pummel through every encounter in the cave.

I was hoping to run into a Joltik because I'm having doubts of ever training Wully. I need some better special offense and more coverage. I instead ran into this Ferroseed, and I'm actually glad I ran into it. Good nature, it'll be defensive on both physical and special, and it'll add some resistance to my team.

First Nuzlocke ever, doing a randomized Platinum run

Just got to Solaceon and haven't had much difficulty yet getting 3 badges. Only death was Goldberg the Golbat against Roark. Had to sacrifice him to heal Donatello.

I'm definitely lacking a good special attacker, gonna need to find one soon I think. Will my team have any problems with Maylene?

Update:

Hanzo (Dewott) evolved into Samurott. Got to Mistralton City, did the usual pkmn center stuff, and headed to Route 7. Since it's Winter in B2, I ran into a Cubchoo in the grass. Anyone want to name it for me? It's female, Brave.

I ran into some trainer with a Sunflora, and was confident that Hanzo could take on it. It killed Hanzo with Bullet Seed...got crit the first time, and shot up to 4. Rip in peace my starter.

Aside from that, due to losing my DS TWICE onto the floor, I had to restart from a savepoint... twice. So, yeah, I'm a little behind schedule (being forced to grind everything up to level 14 for the third time. Fuck.)
Yeah, anyways, I'm about to face Roark. I forgot to add the stuff in the Deathbox, and I can't cba to do it right now, but there's supposed to be a Bidoof and a Cascoon, as well as a Shinx (which I accidentally killed with said Cascoon while trying to catch it. Yes, I record those deaths as well.)

I'm pretty sure Ludvig and Machop will swipe through this gym, but I'm gonna make sure the delicious EXP also goes to Brobat.

Rocket Tower was a complete whore. That guy with the 6 koffings almost bodied me and took my fucking umbreon, then I later lost amphy. The last fight was scary but Golem took the houndoom down.

In my current game i was being stupid, it resulted in me going, hey one of my best pokemon is up against as much faster pokemon with a type advantage, meh it might make it, even if it's health is in the red.

Checking my posibilities after i beated Saturn, i decided to grind Nikita so we could face cyrus.
Then a team composed by Murdock, Batman, Nikita, Banana, Pikablu and Balboa went to Mt Coronet.
I grinded Batman and he achieved his finall moveset, when we arrived spiral tower we proceeded to battle mars and jupiter, nothing to hard.
Then after a shitload of puzzles in distortion world, we battled cyrus, Nikita sweep half of his team including the gyarados.
everything seemed cool, but i forgot i also had to defeat giratina, i sent batman, and he used swords dance however giratina scored a critical ominous wind that also boosted all it's stats, i switched to infernape and fighted with shadow claw while healing from the attacks, suddenly giratina vanished and i knew it was going to use it's signature move....i couldn't afford to lose murdock, nikita or batman....and balboa was the choice, he died and then murdock finished giratina.
You will be remembered balboa. As a brave geodude who saved it's partner.
Now we train for volkner.

Update:
Traded Bonnie's Slash for Iron Tail, at least it can hit ghost types now.

Took down Sidney by a Mina/Randall/Jenny combo, and Bonnie soloed Phoebe with Sub/BD/Iron tail. Now for Glacia.

Lotsa progress today! Managed to train up two awesome new 'mon (unfortunately, Nectarine and Durian weren't pulling their weight quite as well as I had hoped...) and beat Koga and Blaine.

Koga went without a hitch, though there were a few close calls. I got arrogant and decided to go for Blaine, but my hubris cost me Yam (I'll miss you bro ;-;).

Any suggestions for a replacement? I'm thinking Snorlax or whichever of the Fighting duo I pick up in Saffron, but I'm not sure if it's more worth it to leave the slot open for the time being.
