Ash's Charizard was shit because he wasn't patient enough to train it properly, Ritchie didn't have fully evolved Pokemon because he wasn't patient enough for them to come into power in their own time. If Ritchie had beaten him like Cameron did, he would be a reflection of Ash and an embodiment of his good aspects, but Ritchie shared Ash's shit aspects and just got lucky, like Ash had been to get this far.
I liked Tobias because he had an actual design and a theme; I think he was great up until he sent out Latios. He should have had a Darkrai and then some other OU Pokemon, not a team of ubers. Also, Darkrai should NOT have survived STAB Megahorn under any circumstances. But like an above poster said, we need more characters that don't look like they're straight out of Sonichu.
