Then stop trying and just relax and play the game. These things happen naturally. Don't force them. Nobody can tell you who your bro is unless its Scyther, so just have a good time playing until you figure out what Pokemon you enjoy and feel companionship with. Pic related, as I'd never have choose Surskit as my bro if I just listened to what others told me.

I had the same problem. First look through and entire pokedex of all pokes and look at all pokemon you like the look of and make a shortlist. From that decie and choose some to try out.

My deep regret on that account is that the discovery of my top fave has been an unintended side-effect of trying to muster even basic amount of sympathy for such notorious porn-baits as Lucario and Gardevoir.

I then searched entire pokedex to mend back any remaining shreds of determinism by finding something MORE sympathetic, but I have been mostly unsuccesful, with only Sableye and Leavanny coming very close to the goal.

Pic related- -it is the disaster I have been left with. Why did it had to be an accident?

It's huge, can fly at mach speeds despite its weight, and lives for the noble purpose of defending people and Pokemon.

The random order it presents shit in fucks you over constantly by pitting favorites against one another while pitting two Pokemon you could care less about against one another. It is only really good for figuring out what one Pokemon you like above all others. Top 10 is worthless as the way it works fuck that over.
