Hey /vp/, I've been trying to figure out how I obtained an Old Sea Map in Emerald. I went to Faraway Island and caught Mew, despite there never having been an event for it in the US. I didn't use a cheating device, and to my knowledge the Map didn't transfer when you mixed records like the Eon Ticket did.

Which generations had your favorite events? Which events have you obtained? What events are you looking forward to? Does anyone else feel that the new methods of distributing event Pokemon take away from their special-ness? You just download them and pick them up, there's no sense of rarity anymore.
