What I should've said was that it felt like there was no reason to exclude Jynx from getting an evolved form, based on the fact that it, Magmar, and Electabuzz were treated similarly in gens 1-3 (all are at least bipedal in appearance, all together in numerical Pokedex order, all got baby forms in gen 2), so why Jynx got left out of getting an evolved form in gen 4 when Electabuzz and Magmar both got one... it just seems odd to me.
