Starter Roll Thread

No.11960168 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Continuation of >>11959831 with revised rules.

- You wake up late after staying up all night thinking about which starter you will pick. You run to your regional professor's lab and he tells you that s/he has no more starters left. Then, s/he says s/he caught a Pokemon earlier but warns that it's a little ill-mannered: The last 3 digits of your post will be your starter.

I - You cannot pick any starters (because s/he doesn't have any left), so you'll have to add the last number of your time post to your second digit e.g) Bulbasaur 001, and your time is 2:45, it is now 051.

II - If it is an evolved form, you get the Pokemon in it's initial form. e.g) You land on Radicate, you get Rattata.

III - If your first digit is too high (e.g. 705), then for 7 you get to pick between gen 1 or 2, if it is 8 you get to pick between gen 3 or 4.

IV - If it is 9 you get to pick from gen 5 or any number from your time post between 0-6 as your first digit (so if you get 915 and a post of 22:46, get you get to choose 215, 415, or 615). If there is no number between 0-6 in your time post, you get to pick any number from 0-6 as your first digit.

V - If it is too high in the 5th gen (e.g 699), then you take the last digit of your time post and subtract it from your second digit. e.g 2:48 then the number becomes 619.

VI - If you land on a legendary, then you can choose whether to add or subtract the last digit of your time post to your second digit.

VII - You may need to combine some of these rules with certain rolls.

VIII - Were going to follow the national dex:
