Explain to me how in the shitnigs Darmanitan is UU?

It's not overpowered or anything as it's fucking predictable, but I didn't have anything that really countered it, so my team almost got wrecked. So unless I'm running something named "Kill Darmanitan", I'm gonna have problems with it. Heres the video.

Also both Salamence and Darmanitan were scarfed.

Fucking Scarf Darmanitan outsped and 2HKOd Salamence, who isn't exactly frail and also resists it.

I can probably tell you why it's UU. Fucking brainwashed smogonfags are afraid to use anything that is weak to SR and isn't named "Volcarona" Or "Dragon"

It's UU because people stopped using it enough in OU for it to remain OU. No one is 'afraid' to use it.

If something is OU, people are generally confident they can use it there. If people are hesitant, or "afraid to", They won't use it and it drops tiers.

Your statement is contradictory and makes no sense.

It was OU once, which means that people did use it. Who can blame them, after all 140 base attack and 95 Speed looks very appealing.

It didn't work very well, so they stopped using it, and it went to UU.

Pokemon that are in lower tiers aren't there because people are afraid to use them; they're there because people have used them, and they aren't very good.

-Unlike Volcarona, Salamence, and Dragonite, who normally stay in and boost up while they can, Darmanitan's purpose is to shoot off high powered Flare Blitzs one or two at a time unless a late game sweep, and gain momentum with U-turn. He can't afford using lefties because his speed isn't good for OU, so he needs a scarf. Flare Blitz drains enough of his health, and he's also vulnerable to spikes and toxic spikes.
-Rain. A darmanitan in the rain is a useless darmanitan, and that makes him wholly reliable on sun teams.
-Can't switch in on almost anything due to how frail he is.

I use him in UU myself and while he's a fantastic scarf killer, he has problems with Rhyperior, Suicune, and friends, and only has opportunities to shine as a scarf revenge killer.

Darmanitan was only able to outspeed because you were dumb and used an Adamant Salamence, who otherwise outspeeds, against a Jolly Darmanitan.

Power isn't everything, and as you've said, it's very predictable.

You should have kept Tentacruel alive against such a threat, instead you misplayed because you didn't bother to check for the opponent's set.

You misplayed and lost. Darmanitan isn't the issue.

If you've got SR up, that 105 HP isn't too scary when he loses 25% of it as soon as he switches in, in addition to taking a possible hit from the opposing Pokemon.

Unless the Salamence player is greedy and goes Adamant over Jolly. Darmanitan in OU and even UU is always Jolly to maximize the amount of Pokemon it can outspeed; a slow Darmanitan is a dead one.

At which point you can't complain that it outsped, because you specifically chose to use a slower set.
