STARTER ROLL THREAD

No.11960972 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
- You wake up late after staying up all night thinking about which starter you will pick. You run to your regional professor's lab and s/he tells you that s/he has no more starters left. Then, s/he says s/he caught a Pokemon earlier but warns that it's a little ill-mannered: The last 3 digits of your post will be your starter.

I - You cannot pick any starters (because s/he doesn't have any left), so you'll have to add the last number of your time post to your second digit e.g) Bulbasaur 001, and your time is 2:45, it is now 051.

II - If it is an evolved form, you get the Pokemon in it's initial form. e.g) You land on Tangrowth, you get Tangela.

III - If your first digit is too high (e.g. 715), then for 7 you get to pick between gen 1 or 2, if it is 8 you get to pick between gen 3 or 4.If it is 9 you get to pick from gen 5. e.g) 715.. so you get 015, 115 or 215.

IV - If it is too high in the 5th gen (e.g 699), then you take the last digit of your time post and subtract it from your second digit. e.g 2:48 then the number becomes 619. If it is still too high (time post ends with 1, then just subtract again by the same number until you land on a Pokemon).

V - If you land on a legendary, then you can choose whether to add or subtract the last digit of your time post from your second digit.

VI - You may need to combine some of these rules with certain rolls.

VII - Were going to follow the national dex (use number on the right):
