I can give you some rough estimates on what each box is worth(all in USD):
Base - ~450-550
Base 2 - ~300-350 each
Fossil 1st Edition - ~350
Fossil Unlimited - ~200-250
Jungle Unlimited - ~200-250
The miscellanious Booster Packs are worth about 100 bucks all together.
If you want to 'invest' by storing them away for a few years then yeah it's worth it. If you plan to open them and sell off the cards then it's definitely not worth investing in them. WOTC Booster Boxes have gone up in price LOADS over the last 18 months because people started to buy and open them like they were candy.
