I think the ability distribution is just coincidental, they're a trio of Fire, Water, and Electric, as to keep them related give them similar abilities
I also don't agree because of the stat distribution, despite their roles being extremely similar, Vaporeon/Suicune as Bulky waters, Raikou/Jolteon being fast special attackers, Entei and Flareon being physical fire types with 'no moves'
But really, I don't agree with the stat distribution because Raikou is slower than Jolteon.
Otherwise a nice theory/cool thing to add to the compilation image of the most popular fan theorys
