Hey /vp im trying to hatch a shiny joltik via the masuda method (japanese joltik & a galvantula from my game)

I'm just releasing the non shinys and keeping a few with good natures till i get a shiny, the chances are 1/1300 right, so my question is it doesn't restart if i'm releasing them all right?

also any tips for a better chance at hatching them? again i'm using the mesuda method and a poke with flame body to hurry up the process.
