I remember Kindergarten when the Pokemon craze set in and everyone played. I was THE Pokemon master and had a lvl 100 of every single mon because only me and my friends knew about the item duping glitch. My mom made me wear polo shirts to school.
Gen II rolled around and kept me interested, my mom finally let me wear regular clothes. I moved to a new school and had no friends, no one else played Pokemon except a few other outcasts.
Gen III was my escape from a shitty childhood and my GBA became my constant companion. I didn't have any friends and went into a borderline nationalist phase for some reason I can't recall.
Gen IV came out while I was in high school. Peer pressure kept me from playing, though I'd lost interest by then anyway. I had a couple friends but WoW became my new drug. I still thought gliscor was a cool design though. Puberty fucking sucked and changed a lot about me, biologically.
Now I'm 20 and playing Gen V with my friends at work. My hair got darker and much curlier, I couldn't wear my classic "bangs forward" style anymore and wear it parted now. I usually chill in a jacket, but it's been cold lately. Volcarona is awesome.
