They want to do a data structure overhaul like in Gen III, and Game Freak is too lazy to come up with an conversion process to turn Gen V Pokémon data into Gen VI Pokémon data.

If it meant the death of IVs, I'd actually be okay with this.

I got to agree with this one. IVs make every so much shittier. I get too aspie about getting a perfect Pokemon because I'll know that unless it's 30-31 IVs across the board with an ideal Hidden Power, there will be a Pokemon better than mine. If I PokeGen or RNG, then I feel that I cheated.

And that's why I only play simulators for competitive.
