I also would have preferred it to be a new Pokemon. And I agree they're overusing the new forme idea. However, interwebslapping doesn't do a thing and calling people bitches for thinking or preferring for it to be a new Pokemon doesn't do jackshit. It's now looking like they plan to give the other generations' legends formes that they didn't have. They did Mewtwo, so chances are they could do the same to Mew and then later on to Johto Pokemon like Celebi.

If you want my opinion, which you likely don't but fuck you I'm giving it anyway, the 2nd, 7th, and hrrmm... the 8th maybe, as the setting of Mew being a fucking troll was quite fun, 2nd 7th and 8th are the only ones worth it

And even then the 7th is only worth it for the good laughs you'll get out of Rayquaza
