As well as the fact that Pokemon games weren't even the top selling games on the DS? Mario Bros. Nintendo Dogs, Mario Kart, and Brain Age all out sold Diamond and Pearl. It's justified. Additionally, there were other great games on the DS such as Bowser's Inside Story, Ace Attorney, Yoshi's Island, etc. There are also great games on the 3DS such as Kid Icarus Uprising, (GOTY 2012) Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon (GOTY 2013), Fire Emblem Awakening, Super Mario 3D Land, Zero Escape, Etrian Odyssey IV, etc.
You're missing out on a lot by not buying a 3DS man.
