I hate the "ban all legendaries only" rule because then stuff that actually isn't all that powerful like Regigigas isn't allowed but shit like Speed Boost Blaziken is. Even in the damn game you're allowed to use some legendaries in the battle facilities.

Yeah, it's true. "Legendary" is a misconception of ignorant people. Just because it's an event Pokemon does not NECESSARILY make it stronger than commonly found Pokemon, but there isn't really a way for normal people to learn that without looking up BSTs. However, since I can use Latias in the Battle Frontier, I reserve the right to use it in battles too.

Uxie really isn't that difficult to deal with. To be honest, I'd much rather face an Uxie than a speed boost Blaziken or even an Excadrill on a well made sand team. Fucking Ferrothorn is more threatening than the pixies. Just because something has the term 'legendary' doesn't instantly mean it has broken unbeatable stats.
