I was playing Black 2 while with some friends while one girl was playing FireRed on an emulator.
One of my friends goes on Sporcle and opens a quiz to name all Gen 3 Pokemon, so he and I try to do it.
As we're doing it the girl is like "I only like the old ones." Mostly just got annoyed by then
Afterward she watches me do the Champions portion of the PWT while grinding BP, and I get into a battle with Steven. She just says "That's a boring name. Why can't it be good, like Brock?"
I mentioned Brock was just the word rock with a B in front of it and she shut up, but I forgot to mention that Steven's full name is "Steven Stone," which is better than "Brock"

Is it just me, or are genwunners generally unintelligent and, if they even make it into college, get worthless majors or none at all? I'm Computer Engineering, and everyone I've met don't mind the new Pokemon (though some have stopped playing, they don't hate the new ones). Maybe it's because of all the autism in my field? I don't know, just spewing out stream of conscious.

Pretty cool to see a lapsed fan express interest in the series. The funny thing is that I first met him on his doorstep when he was selling Pokemon cards for 25 cents a piece.

I did all those tests once and I scored around 80% on every gen except for Hoenn, which I 100%-ed. I don't even like Hoenn, but my damn girlfriend has the Hoenn Pokerap on her iPod and plays it whenever I'm in her car so I know all the lyrics.
