Is it worth it, /vp/? I sold my copy of Diamond to pay for W2, which I didn't really mind as it was a pretty slow game. Now I've heard pretty good things about Platinum, and I've found a copy for cheap. Is it worth the time to go back to Gen IV?

OP here. I've played SS and I have to say I actually enjoyed it less than Diamond. The level scaling is awful, and the region is kinda bland. It's still a good game, it's just not what I'm used to.
To the rest of you, thanks for the unanimous answer. I'll pick it up as soon as possible.

HGSS had way to many flaws to be a good game without blinding nostalgiagoggles.

Maybe it is just the nostalgia, but for some reason, I love HeartGold too much to say it isn't my favorite Pokémon game of all time. Something about Johto is just really cute.
