Who have been your closest bros, /vp/? Tell me about them, why they were so close to you. Do you still have em? Let's share some stories about our closest friends. Also, no hating on people for liking certain pokemon, this is a thread of friendship.
>pic related: it's Steve.
this guy has to be my closest bro of all. I've literally had him since my first ever pokemon game (red), and traded him through every single version. He's been through every region with me. When I was 14 and I had a house fire, and lost my father, I wasn't able to grab my gameboy. I cried cause I never thought I would see him again. The following day, we went back to my house, where there was a huge dumpster on our driveway filled with everything that was deemed broken due to either fire or smoke damage. I rummaged through it for 2 hours in the -20 celcius weather until I finally found my old red advance SP. It was charred almost completely, but miraculously, my sapphire version was unharmed. In the following 6 months, where we had no house to live in (had to rent some weird ass one downtown), all I did was stay inside and play pokemon. Steve helped me through one of the hardest times of my life, the loss of my father. he was a friend to me and has never let me down since then.
