You'll never go anywhere making dubstep.

Skrillex already popularized and murdered his own career.

The art style of the video is extremely edgy and cliche, I can't stand the goofy looking, dubstep glow-glove hand-dancing.

If you want to get popular in music or directing I would focus on making something that isn't so overdone.

This is all just my opinion though, you know?

Critiquing the video alone then, I think it's missing self validation. Like, it's a dubstep themed video for a dubstep song, featuring a trashy, abandoned dubstep environment, while an ordinary looking man in a mask does a dubstep oriented dance.

Do you see what I'm saying? It's just really not that innovative, and by all means I'm not saying that every music video has to be. But for something that is as stale as dubstep right now you're going to want an image that sets you apart from everyone bandwagoning the sound and visuals of that electronic subculture.

i see what your saying, and i agree. and maybe my promotion of it here is representing it to be my life's work or some big deal to me

but it was never intended to break ground on that level, this was sort of an exercise in the midst of filming my indie film, and as for J it's just something to show people when he goes to competitions and stuff
