The pokemon games are really fun, but they aren't the best part to me. I really like breeding, especially IV's. It's just fun to me to make a technically perfect pokemon. If you don't like that, too bad.

It's okay, OP. I've been competitive minded since Gen 1. Didn't discover Smogon until Gen 4, and it dominated that entire generation for me. What's nice is when you go back to being casual, but armed with a shitload more knowledge, so you have a mix of both.
