I think it would be fun to make my own Pokemon game. Not a "True" game but an RPG that involves training Pokemon, maybe recruiting them like fire emblem or suikoden.

The idea spawned when me and a freind were talking about how cool it would be to have a pokemon game from a team perspective, (we are OG so this team of course is Team Rocket)

I can't help but let ideas run so I'm starting to develop plans for this little fan game.

You start as a grunt in team rocket's third Reich. You hear that the regions professor has received a new shipment of rare Pokemon (The starters) and you are part of the squad that is going to steal it.

The opening of the game involves you being briefed on the new starters (so you know which one you want to pick) while riding in a helicopter with the rest of the grunts. You all bust in swat team style, knock out all the scientist and start loading the package with the starters into the helicopter when you are attacked by some officer jenny's. You take one of the Pokemon to defend yourself and another one of the grunts takes one (He takes the Pokemon that yours is strong against)

You escape and go back to base

(We get a quick scene of the professors grandson showing up at the wreckage, he takes the last Pokemon and swears vengeance against Team Rocket...)

You and your Pokemon are brought to Giovanni, he assigns you and your friend with the task of infiltrating the Pokemon league. Your going to masquerade as a regular trainer catching Pokemon, earning badges, etc.

Between badges (where in a normal game you would be fighting the team) you are called to do various missions as a team rocket member and work your way up through the ranks of team rocket eventually becoming Giovanni right hand man.

You beat the elite four, the champion, and ALL THE SHIT GOES DOWN!!!

Team rocket storms into the league and...(Even though It will probably never be finished I dont like to tell endings to pet projects)
