Has anyone else heard anything about a reboot of the anime? I was browsing tv tropes and saw the author of The Sun Soul (mediocre story and AU as F*ck but entertaining) had been hired by DC Entertainment to help produce a western style reboot aimed at an older demographic.
Why had I not heard of this?

I didn't. It had the same flaws that the anime did.

IT WASN'T TRUE TO THE SOURCE.

Jesus fuck, did Ash's pokemon suck. They were horrible choices, and he used some bullshit moves.

I think the only parts I liked was the fact that Misty and Pikachu died.

I haven't read it since Ash and May killed Oak and Elm.

Anyone want to give me a quick recap of how it ended?

Did he and Janine fuck? I always liked Sabrina better but oh well.

It was a good read, with descriptive language, but it still wasn't Pokemon to me. It was just a good AU story that followed it's own mechanics.
