Is it me or does gen IV graphics looks better than gen V? I mean, they are a bit fancier and stuff, more colorful, also, it looks like it has more of anti aliasing.

Chose screenshots that are comparable, like two nature shots, not one that's stretched and pixel-y because of some 3D camera effect.

Gen5 uses more 3D models than Gen4. You probably only like sprites better.

Gen V's overworld looked a lot better, but the "3D" sections like OPs pic were a little under par, making it seem worse overall.

The colors in gen V are so much more subdued. The greens are blueish and the reds and oranges aren't as bright. In gen IV the colors are all very vibrant. I definitely prefer the brighter colors.

I prefer gen IV's graphics because all of gen V's cities and places look dark and full of shadows. DPPt and HGSS felt way more bright and vivid.
