For me, it was Flareon. I always disliked it compared to the other Eevee-loutions since I always picked a Fire Type as my starter.
I chose Squirtle as my starter in Fire Red and needed a strong Fire-type besides Growlithe. Evolved my female Eevee into Flareon and watched her destroy the E4 with a 125 Attack and Special Attack with blistering speed as well.
Still training Vivian to this day.
