As a Kid, the Pikachu doll my brother got me meant a lot. The Happy Birthday Pikachu card my family got me was a surprise. Pokemon Yellow was probably the first game I ever bought by myself and I remember working hard doing chores to earn the money for it. That and I used to think using the strongest Pokemon and strongets moves was the best strategy, so trying to use a Pikachu taught me more about setting up and using items/effects.
That and last year my brother mailed me a Pikachu doll. Its been years and I haven't seen him, but glad he still just wants me to be as happy as when we were kids.
