Ralts goes to visit a gallery in Hoenn with her parents Gardevoir and Gallade. There's an exhibition of works made by Smeargle. Suddenly she gets lost and there are no people in sight. She goes through a haunted gallery, getting attacked by various ghost-type Pokemon, eventually she finds a wounded Machoke and helps him. They both wander around the gallery until they meet another person, a Lilligant, she is happy to meet the new friends. Machoke later gets separated from Ralts and Lilligant, the girls continue on their own and at one point Lilligant attack Ralts, but gets stopped by Machoke who appeared just in time, Machoke informs Ralts that Lilligant is a fake Pokemon, and she is actually a painting. Later they find her canvas and destroy it, Lilligant dies and everyone is safe. They manage to escape the haunted gallery and live happily.
