Nope, the game generates a different Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir whenever you battle Wally, and since it's a trainer battle, it's never shiny.

By that I meant since RBY, and I only stopped between Diamond and Black 1 (I played Diamond, but not Plat or HGSS until later).

Hearing/watching people fail at catching a shiny is hilarious. But, I do know the pain of not being able to catch a shiny.

I ran into an Abra in HG, I was training the Eevee you get from Bill in Goldenrod. I was in rt. 34, barely training it, when I ran into a shiny Abra. These were my choices:

>Attack, get outsped, Abra teleports
>Throw a Pokeball

So I attempt to catch it with a Great Ball, and fucking Abra breaks out from it and Teleports.

I haven't used Great Balls since, and I haven't ran into a shiny since.

As for the shinies I've caught:

>Nidoran (female) in Gold
>Beldum in Ruby (gift from Steven)
>Golbat in Diamond
>Steelix in Diamond

I remember my very first shiny was a Kriketot on Platinum. I was so fucking stoked because it was golden.

Oh, and I once came across a shiny level 17 Golbat...at the Safari Zone in Heartgold. It took me 12 turns to catch that shit.

First shiny was a tentacool on the way to e4 in sapphire. It died.

Second was a bidoof in diamond, I had no pokeballs

Third was a riolu in black 2. I had just started and only had tepig and a lilipup. I had a bunch of pokeballs and began whittling its hp down after about 5 attempts with pokeball. Bout one third hp and it uses endure. Lilipups tackle lands a crit and leaves riolu with 1 hp. Catch it with premier ball and had the biggest smile on my face the rest of the day.

My cinccino for w2, the one the professor brings out at the start of the game, was shiny. Took a photo with my phone, awful quality, but you can sorta make it out.

Not possible. The game uses a separate image for cinccino. Not the sprite. It will never be shiny.
