I've started a new game in Firered, and have decided to use Snorlax this time.

I have zero experience using this guy, I usually just catch it and box it. How well does he play in-game? What movesets are good on him?

Snorlax is a beast. Save in front of the snorlax before you catch it and try to get an adamant or careful natured one. Then keep him with a stab normal move like body slam or double edge and then he can learn like earthquake, rock slide, shadow ball. rollout isn't bad. or brick break. you can buy those at the mart. and in-game yawn and focus punch is a great combo. i stress, that's for in-game only.

Sounds good. What about moves?

I was thinking Body Slam because of the chance to paralyze, so what else?

or if you wanted to teach him surf or something get a speed lowering nature like sassy or brave so his spatk won't be THAT horrible
