I actually recall people saying there's not a lot to do in the B & W 1 postgames (just ordered White the other day myself). Heartgold and Soulsilver, on the other hand, are both longer and have plenty to do in the postgame. So I'd say White first, then Heartgold might entertain you for longer.

Oh. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that you're dying. If you played the original Gold and Silver (and enjoyed them), then I think replaying Heartgold could give you the best warm fuzzies. Otherwise I'm not sure, although I did hear that White has a really great story.

Then Heartgold it is. Fun fact: both it and Soulsilver accommodated Crystal's extra story elements (Namely the Suicune parts) when they were being [re]made.

Well I've already played Soulsilver and I haven't played Black or White, so I'm not exactly unbiased in my decision.
