Each tier has certain pokemon that will make it onto most teams in that tier. NU and RU probably have the most diversity, although UU isn't too bad either.

well my problem isnt that I see a pokemon on every team, its the fact that these ones u cant tell whether they are physical/special untill someone on ur team faints or you take massive damage.

Also Keldeo should be ubers imo

To expand on this: I've been using a team of ru and nu pokemon in OU and it has been working well for me. I think the solution isn't to switch tiers, but to encourage people to be more creative/play with bros.

and you couldnt use EQ on the second turn? even with a calm mind, i dont think a sub jirachi packs enough Sp. A to kill a gliscor in one hit with psychic, and they dont usually carry HP ice

Except it won't be running HP bug ever.

Even though most people in OU use copypasta teams, you can use this to your advantage. Build a team of pokemon that can counter the big threats.

I'm doing quite good when all of a sudden the dude switches in Victini. I had Umbreon so I'm like, OK, let's do this.
I select Swagger but he moves first, and V-creates me to death. Then my Flygon. Then my Mew. Fucking shit.
Since then it has happened lots of times.

The problem with Ambipom is the fake out/last resort.

Victini is complete bullshit. It has V-Create, Bolt Strike, Blue Flare, and U-Turn to reset the stat decreases. Plus, it can even be viable in TRICK ROOM despite the 100 base speed

With jirachi you predict paraflinch and send in something that resists steel and has super effective attacks and possiblly recovery. Mew you always taunt, trick, or setup on them since they're usually for setup. For victini you send in someone who resists/is immune to fire, because you have to assume they're going to use V-Create. For celebi a taunt or trick would also be good, but I have a grass type with bug moves. Hp fire still wrecks my shit though.

Fuck hidden power. I hope the hidden power shit stops with x and y.

OU is horribly unbalanced, and you already explained why. (Plus, rain)

UU is centralized as fuck around cresselia/snorlax cores and ambipom/hitmontop attackers.

RU is centralized around ludicolo and hitmonlee and entry hazards

NU is centralized around calm mind musharna and parafuse regigigas

In LC if you don't have frillish and dratini on your team, you'll lose 9/10 battles. It's that centralized.

So.. Ubers most balanced tier.

You're out of the loop. UU is heracross + raikou, RU is still entry hazard heavy but hail is becoming dominant, and NU is all about Golurk, Saek and Braviary

Anyway, I'd suggest LC, since it's not as centralized as before. Teams are getting really diverse actually, and you can make a lot of things viable. It's totally not because I'm a little cup fanboy

Yeah, but it doesn't mean they are on every team. Players prefer diverse team, since there are really different playstyles. These pokémon are kinda one-trick ponies, and since everyone started using counters for them, diversity is starting to show up a lot. Overall, Little Cup is way more funnier than before.

You really don't have a clue on what you're talking about. Ludicolo is NU, not RU, and it's common in NU, but not incredibly so; especially now that Jynx is there.

Musharna is common in NU, but mainly because Sawk is the most used pokemon in the tier. Regigigas is fucking PU tier.

LC is the most centralized of all tiers yeah, but not around Frillish, or Dratini. Around Misdreavus, Murkrow, and Mienfoo.

Also Sand is more common than rain in OU.

It's fine that it's your favorite tier, but jesus christ; when you have one pokemon at 48% usage, and another at 47% at 1850+ rating, and then 38%, 36%, and 32% I just don't see how you can defend that.

Scizor on the other hand is only in 23% of the highly rated users teams.

I find that Swoobat is pretty viable in OU if you have the right support. Heck, I can win using outclassed pokemon like Masquerain. My only problem comes from phazers and Dark types.
