>>12084413>You can call me a sheep all you want but those tears will be delicious when Fairy Type's confirmed.See, this is the second symptom of the problem. It's really to do with the childish mindset that the children on here have (Either they are literally underaged or mentally underaged)
Along with the blind twisting of facts to fit what they want to be true, they also can't separate what they would LIKE to be true with what is LIKELY to be true. You can see this by the way your first response is a jibe that I would cry if Fairy type was confirmed.
I'm going to say something you might find hard to comprehend, but please read on through the head pain; I would personally like there to be a fairy type. I think the type chart could use rebalancing and it would be an interesting type to have, and I think it would be a nice way to distinguish "normal" normal types from "special" normal types.
But here's the thing, just because I would like something to happen it does not give any weight to the possibility of that thing happening. It does not mean I am then going to believe anyone who promises me the things I want to have. It does not give credibility to people who have none, just because they like the same things as me. What I want does not cloud my reasoning capabilities, as it does yours.
Your problem is that you sort people into these tribes, the fairyfags vs. the flyingfags vs. whatever, and you never actually stop to think about the actual evidence behind any given proposition. That's also why you totally failed to address what I said about crediblity, and instead just reverted to out-group based insults. Don't feel so bad, though, I get the feeling that three quarters of the board share this affliction.
