I've already posted this as a comment, but I think it deserves its own thread.
Technically, having already a "dark" type, or "evil", would make much more sense having in gen VI a "light" type, referred the same way in japanese.
Remember the Light Pokémon, back in the nee destiny expansion set?
Fairy is just a non sense.
I think it's flying, anyway.
