So theres a lot of Sylveon threads up right now. And I'm not sure if anyone has already mentioned this.

It might sound a little crazy but..what if GF is just pulling our chain by only releasing one of the eeveelutions, when there is actually a second balancing type eevee of some sort to go along with it? Just a thought.

From the legendaries it looks like Fairy would already be a counterpart type to Dark, for which there already exists an eeveelution. But since Psychic and Dark are already counterparts, maybe they form something of a trio.

I highly doubt that GF would just release a feminine one. Some of the most popular Pokemon are the Eeveelutions, and they know this. Also, they've never released just one.

100 bucks says it is going to evolve into the second new eeveelution in the short to do so.
They haven't released it yet because they're trying to surprise us.

There's a difference between hype and stupidity. As I said, they're already promoting Sylveon merch to make sure people are aware of it. They're at that point.

This mysterious other eeveelution you all believe in would not be receiving any benefit from this. It'll be introduced way too late for anything to be done and will amount to an afterthought in the short.

Who said there's only one Mewtwo film? Why couldn't there be another one featuring another form to go with the X/Y theme?

You're just trying to conjure up things haven't even slightly been suggested to fit what you'd like to see.

You know what's more "dumb business-wise" than just releasing something that might only appeal to one market? Completely ignoring a product and trying to rely on the surprise when it's released to get interest. It doesn't work.
