Prankster gives priority +1 to any move that doesn't do direct damage. Since the first turn of Shadow Force doesn't do direct damage, prankster gives it a +1 priority. The second turn DOES do damage, so prankster doesn't give priority to it. Then, because Liepard is holding a Lagging Tail, it always moves last in its priority bracket, causing it to move AFTER the opponent.
The end result is Liepard disappears, opponent attacks, opponent attacks, Liepard reappears.
The strategy can only be trumped by No Guard mons (and No Guard Machamp hits STAB/SE on Liepard, really fucking it up) or mons who use priority attacks, since they're guaranteed (due to Lagging Tail) to hit before Liepard disappears.
Even then, though, Shadow Force is a BP120 move with no drawbacks (recoil, lowered stats, low acc, etc), and because Assist counts its own PP, it can be used by Liepard 32 times instead of 8, which is pretty damn potent anyway.
