Nuzlocke stories?

Doing my first run EVER right now in HG. I had a pretty solid team and just beat Buggsy. I was thinking to myself that this first run was going to be easy.

Then my rival stops me before Illex forst (no problem right?) but HOLY SHIT, REFLECT + SYNTHESIS BAYLEEF.

Whips out Chompy my Totodile, Sneakyrox my Geodude, and Ootachi my Sentret.

My new bro, Vegtabul the Belsprout barely got me out of there alive by spamming wrap+sleep powder thanks to his x4 resistance to razor leaf, and rival's Zubat missed suspersonic 10 times in a row. But damn that was close. Going to hatch my Togepi egg now and do some grinding in the Union Cave because all are dead except my Vegtabul.
